To provide core teleprompter functionalities, the app may request the following device permissions. These are used purely locally on your device to enable specific features:
- Display Over Other Apps (Floating Window / System Alert Window): Required to show the floating teleprompter overlay widget. This allows the script to stay visible on top of other applications (such as third-party camera or video conferencing apps) while you are recording or speaking.
- Foreground Service: Used to run the floating teleprompter overlay as a robust active service, ensuring it does not get terminated by the system while you are using other applications.
- Notifications Access (Post Notifications): Used to show a persistent notification for the floating teleprompter controller, allowing you to pause, play, or close the overlay easily at any time.
- Camera / Microphone Access: Required only if you use built-in video or audio recording features within the teleprompter to record yourself while reading. Recorded media is saved directly and solely to your device.
- Storage Access: Required to save exported scripts, record videos, or import text/document files into the teleprompter.
Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in the event of an error or crash in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include details such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
